With the overseas absentee voting set to begin on April 10, registered Filipino voters all over the world will be casting their ballots for the country’s next set of officials, including the 17th president, and determine the course of the nation’s progress in the coming years.

In this four-part series, VERA Files Fact Check compiled relevant information about six of the top candidates vying for Malacañang, and their respective vice presidential bets, to help voters make the ultimate decision.

Grouped alphabetically, each profile contains a summary of the candidates’ main platform, experience in public office or field of expertise, issues and controversies faced, relatives in government, and other interesting facts.
