THE Commission on Elections has listed 75 poster violations one month after the campaign period for candidates for senator and party-list groups started on Feb 12.

Comelec’s Law Department sent out 38 notices to 22 senatorial candidates and 36 notices to 21 party-lists. The poll body also sent a separate notice to Bishop Vicente Navarra of Bacolod City over the oversized Conscience Vote tarpaulin outside the San Sebastian Cathedral which is now the subject of a temporary restraining order issued by the Supreme Court.

Benigno “Bam” Aquino IV and Risa Hontiveros-Baraquel of Team PNoy received the most number of notices from Comelec with four letters apiece. Congressmen Juan Edgardo Angara and Teodoro Casiño and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV came second with three violations each.
